Joe Grammatico

President, Keyrenter Contra Costa

Joe was born and raised in Southern California in the small blue collar town of San Pedro. He grew up in a Sicilian household where homemade pasta, bread, and desserts were everyday staples in the Grammatico family. In spite of the constant cooking, their home was continually and surprisingly clean and organized ran by the “general,” Joe’s mother. As a youngster, Joe learned from his mother to have a keen eye for anything that was out of place or not kept up.

Later as a teen, Joe started helping his father manage multi-unit buildings, This is where Joe learned the ropes to the property management business. It was during this time, Joe realized from his father a few key elements that comprise a successful property manager. Primarily, having open lines of communication, responsiveness and setting expectations are the three cornerstones to building a strong client foundation. Whether it was performing a walk-through inspection, supervising a project, or reading the fine print of a contract, Joe is able to quickly identify consequential issues before they arise. Joe also realized that his father was heavily relied upon which made it necessary to have a solid system in place.

Joe utilized what he learned to implement these traits later in his career. Joe has over a decade of experience in the insurance industry as a property and casualty insurance broker. Handling over a $10 million book of business, Joe has largely worked with landlords and investors alike and understands the importance of protecting and managing residential and commercial income property risks. Joe has voluntarily given numerous seminars and presentations throughout his career on protecting landlords’ assets. Joe’s ease of approachability, straightforward, and candid demeanor has allowed him to open many doors in his career. His experience with landlords and their properties coupled with the early teachings of his father led him to ultimately and naturally open Keyrenter Contra Costa property management.

Joe has been a proud resident of San Ramon for over a decade now. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons and being physically active while being an avid sports fan. Also, a foodie that enjoys cooking especially his mother’s secret Sicilian recipes. Just like a good recipe, you need a good amount of Joe’s reliability mixed in with his knowledge and experience to educate his clients, a dash of drive, and a sprinkle of passion that creates a productive and profitable relationship.

Nour Grammatico

Nour was born in the heart of the bustling financial epicenter -San Francisco, California. While her parents were a part of the working middle class, she quickly realized at a very young age that only by having hard work and dedication to her passions would she be able to attain the ultimate keys to a successful career. With her fiery determination and outspoken sense of morale, Nour was recognized by her high school principal as most likely to change the world. Moving swiftly in her goal of continuing education, Nour graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2009. With a degree in Communications and a minor in the language of Spanish, Nour’s door of opportunities were at her fingertips.

By 2011, Nour attained her Property and Casualty license in the insurance industry. With over 10 years in the business, Nour has successfully worked with over a 100 different property management companies, and 200 different residential homeowner associations. One thing was clear to Nour, insurance was necessary for all aspects of business.

Whether it is evaluating a property’s replacement cost in case of a total loss or determining the correct limits of coverage for an individual’s condominium unit, Nour took pride day in and day out assisting her clients. With unmatched customer service and expanding her knowledge by retaining her designation as a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Nour was able to work for one of the top 3 largest insurance brokerages in the United States. It is there where she was able to comprehend the world of property management in another capacity. Landlords, property investors, developers, capital investment partners all shared one common goal- turn a profit without the hassle of dealing with the monotony of the everyday tenant issues. Maintenance, collecting rent, pet handling, and negotiating leases are all very time-consuming tasks necessary to run a successful property management business.

Nour has taken what she has learned and teamed up with her husband Joe to form the dynamic team of Keyrenter Contra Costa property management.
